Welcome to the home of the Arcadia Little League Baseball and Softball teams. We have served the youth in the Arcadia community ages 4-18 for the past 55 years. We are located in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and are part of the Arizona District #6 Little League. Opening Day Festivities
Arcadia Little League is gearing up for another terrific 2010 season, and is excited to kick-off festivities with our Opening Day on March 20th from 11 to 3 at Ingleside Middle School. This signature event draws thousands of families and little leaguers for a great day of rides, games, food, and some exciting baseball action. Local radio personality, Dave Pratt, and Diamondbacks favorite Luis Gonzales, will be this year’s hosts, and we have our exciting car raffle again for a brand new Ford Mustang or $15,000 in cash.
Team Picture Schedule
Before the Opening Day festivities on Saturday, March 20th, the team pictures will be taken at Arcadia Park from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Go the Key Downloads on this home page to check the latest time schedule for your team photo on Saturday the 20th. Picture Packets will be available starting March 15th. Managers will pick up their packet at the appropriate snack bars and distribute the packets to their kids. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Arndt at lori@aboutcsi.com.
Raffle Ticket Distribution
Managers will be picking up their Raffle Packets with all of the raffle tickets to distribute to all players. Please contact Jan Friedman at frazzledmom@cox.net if you have not picked up your Raffle Packets.
Each player will have an envelope with their name on it and 3 tickets in the envelope. Tickets are $20 each. If a player needs more tickets, there are five extra tickets in the Manager's packet. Please email Jan Freidman if any additional tickets are needed.
All packets must be turned in on or before March 18th. The player that sells the most tickets wins an Apple iTouch. If your team sells the most tickets overall, you will win tickets to attend a Diamondbacks game together, as a team. So sell those raffle tickets!
